Christopher P. Gengaro

Christopher P. Gengaro is one of the firm’s founding partners.  He is an experienced matrimonial attorney who handles all types of family law and domestic relations matters including divorce proceedings, child custody and child support issues, post-judgment motions and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.  He has appeared in complicated and emergency situations before the New Jersey Family Court, Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court.

Mr. Gengaro handles all types of litigation, including commercial litigation, breach of contract cases, partnership disputes, and tort actions, for both plaintiffs and defendants, in state and federal court.  He has handled numerous jury trials and bench trials including plenary hearings before New Jersey’s Chancery Court and has filed or defended numerous Orders to Show Cause seeking injunctive relief.  Mr. Gengaro also has extensive experience before the New Jersey Appellate Courts, having successfully litigated numerous appeals before the Appellate Division and New Jersey Supreme Court.

Mr. Gengaro also represents clients in connection commercial real estate matters, including purchases and sales, leases and refinances. He is experienced in corporate law, including corporate formations and transactions, the negotiation and drafting of partnership agreements, shareholder agreements and operating agreements as well as stock purchase and asset purchase agreements.
